Regional Energy Agency Kvarner (REA Kvarner Ltd.) was established in 2009 by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County as a non-profit public owned company, with the task of establishing a single institutionalized framework for more rational use of existing energy resources and encouraging the energy production from renewable and alternative sources in the County.
